Our congregation of 25-40 is small enough to provide ample opportunities for the development of lay ministry skills, close friendship ties, and meaningful personal worship experiences in a picturesque country setting. Theologically conservative in the Methodist tradition, our family worship service is both traditional and informal. A relaxed dress code and friendly people make it easy for visitors to feel at home. Compassionate projects for various humanitarian causes reflect the heartbeat and mission of Kolapore Church: to live love, teach truth, and encourage the Christian life in all we say and do, in our community and abroad; "Faith expressed through love." (Gal. 5:6b)

OUR SERVICES TO THE COMMUNITY

  •  Each year Kolapore Church generously contributes compassionate funding  for the relief of international humanitarian crises through special projects. In partnership with 2 other city churches our local grow project sends the profits from our annual field of grain overseas through the Canadian FoodGrains Bank. In December we conduct a Christmas dinner and charity auction for the hungry, forwarding funds through Nazarene Compassionate Ministries Canada. Alabaster funds are utilized to erect buildings for medical and ministry centres in needy areas.
  • Locally, we assist those who find themselves in unexpected crises, and strive to bring practical encouragement in the best ways possible.
  • Individual. premarital and marital counselling is available by appointment only, from Pastor Goudy (BA, BSL, MRE, MA, Ph D)

OUR PROGRAMS: Sunday Morning WORSHIP SERVICE - 10:30 am. Kolapore Church holds services every week year round. Our worship times normally conclude after 60-70 minutes, followed by a time of informal fellowship over coffee in the church foyer.
